A Divine Revelation: The Symbolism of Pregnancy in Dreams
Popped into my gynecologist office. my 7 year old was with me. Gynecologist handed me a pic of sonogram with a baby photo. I thought it was my current son. About 5-10 minutes later it dawned on me, How could she get a sonogram pic of my son if he’s 7 and standing next to me? I must be pregnant with another child. my husband wasn’t there in the dream so I was thinking of how I was gonna tell him I was pregnant. when he got home.

The dreamer’s visit to the gynecologist’s office represents a spiritual check-up, a time of introspection and self-reflection. The presence of the dreamer’s 7-year-old child symbolizes innocence and purity, reminding the dreamer to approach this time with a childlike faith and openness to divine guidance. The sonogram and baby photo handed to the dreamer by the gynecologist represent a new spiritual life or calling that is being revealed to the dreamer. This new life may not be immediately recognizable to the dreamer, as evidenced by the initial confusion over the identity of the baby in the photo. This confusion may also represent the dreamer’s hesitation or uncertainty about embracing this new spiritual journey. However, as the dreamer realizes that the sonogram cannot be of their current child, it becomes clear that this new life is separate and distinct from their current circumstances. This realization may bring about a sense of excitement and anticipation, as well as a sense of responsibility and planning for the future. The absence of the dreamer’s husband in the dream may symbolize the dreamer’s personal journey and decision to embrace this new spiritual calling, rather than relying on the support or approval of others. The dreamer’s thoughts about how to tell their husband about the pregnancy may represent the dreamer’s desire for their spouse to also embrace this new journey and support them in it. Overall, this dream serves as a reminder to the dreamer to trust in God’s plan and to be open to new spiritual growth and opportunities, even if they may initially seem confusing or unexpected.
