A Dream of Braces, Fish, and Friendship

A Dream of Braces, Fish, and Friendship
I was choosing my rubber band color for my braces. I chose purple for my favorite color, light purple for my friend Harper's favorite color, and aqua green for my friend Mia's favorite color. The girl doing my braces only did purple. Then she told me to lay down with my legs up straight in the air. Then she told me to put edible glue on my lips to hold the braces in place. So I put it on my top lip then my bottom lip and finally my side lips. Then we appeared on a ride at an aquarium. It started out fast then it slowed down. We learned about fish. My braces were still not finished. One of the fish we learned about was a fish that could go in and out of water. When the ride was done I saw the fish was getting dry so I put it back in the fish tank. Then we went to get plants that grow in the water from land [ these plants can kill you]. Then we went to my friend Mia’s house. My braces are still unfinished. We were relaxing in Mia's pool. Then we saw a giant squid with 2 eyes. It wanted to destroy everything. It was white on the front side and grayish blueish on the back. My friend Mia's dad's boat was off the dock and I worried the squid would harm it so I rushed over. I turned the giant squid good by speaking something to it, and we became best friends. Turns out that the giant squid could turn into that fish from the ride at the aquarium that could go in and out of water so we put it back in the aquarium. Then at the end of the day when everyone left the fish was going to transform into the giant squid again. By the end of the dream my braces were still not finished.

This dream may symbolize the struggles and challenges we face in our relationships and the importance of communication and understanding. The rubber bands on the braces represent the different colors and preferences of the dreamer and her friends, highlighting the diversity and uniqueness of each individual. However, the fact that only the purple bands were used by the girl doing the braces could suggest a lack of consideration for the others’ preferences. This could be a reflection of the dreamer’s own behavior in her relationships, where she may tend to prioritize her own desires over others.

The edible glue on the lips could symbolize the need for honesty and transparency in communication. By putting it on her lips, the dreamer may be subconsciously acknowledging the importance of speaking truthfully and openly in her relationships. The ride at the aquarium represents the journey of learning and growth in relationships. The fast and slow speeds could symbolize the ups and downs, challenges and victories, that come with building and maintaining friendships.

The fish that can go in and out of water may represent adaptability and flexibility in relationships. The dreamer’s concern for the fish’s well-being and her decision to put it back in the tank could symbolize her desire to maintain harmony and balance in her relationships. The giant squid with two eyes could represent a powerful and potentially destructive force in the dreamer’s life. However, her ability to turn it good and become friends with it could symbolize her inner strength and resilience in overcoming challenges and conflicts in her relationships.

The unfinished braces at the end of the dream could suggest that the dreamer’s relationships are a work in progress and require ongoing effort and attention. It may also symbolize the dreamer’s own personal growth and development, as she continues to learn and navigate the complexities of relationships. Overall, this dream may serve as a reminder to prioritize communication, understanding, and adaptability in our relationships, and to always strive for harmony and balance in our interactions with others.
