A Forbidden Connection: A Dream Analysis

A Forbidden Connection: A Dream Analysis
I am in this weird place. It is a flat, looks like a spacious one but with very intruding sort of persons. I feel very stifled in there. I see this maid coming to their house and we have an instant connection. As she sits in front of me, in her green saree and the saree moves up sensually to have a glimpse of her thighs, which she quickly covers. At the same time, I see my wife and daughter in the other room sleeping. And then, I move out. And then the obscure begins. I travel with her and we get down in a street. And then, I am alone and I come back to the rickshaw where I expect her to be there. But now, there is a man, a well-built man. He says I am both he and her. I am dazed as I walk back to the weird place before dropping that person at Dadar railway station. Even then, the memory of that lady continued to follow me in the dream. I come back to that quiet flat, with prying persons and a small girl who is just back from school. I tell my mother I am going out. That man in the flat tells my mother that there was that foreigner who bumped into me while I was walking. Is your son drunk?, he asks. I say I don’t drink outside only sometimes at home and that too not more than a pint. While moving to the bedroom, I see her in the kitchen and I beg her to meet me outside. And then, when I come outside, I ask for some money from my mother and leave. Outside I meet her again. She says I told them I have some home emergency and have to go. As I try to hold her hand, she says quickly that they will be seen. I ask her if there is no place for us to have a talk and she says let’s go to that deserted temple. Nobody goes there, she says. In the solitude of the temple, we get the space to be close as we never were. She says I liked you and after now, I cannot be away from you. I say I am going back tomorrow and ask her to come to stay in our area for a week. That will be a long time to come to know each other, I suggest.
