A Journey to the Top: Symbolism in Dreaming of Driving Up a Mountain
I dreamt my father was driving us up a mountain and I was in the passenger seat pointing out all the different hotels, churches, and houses that we would pass by. They would get bigger and bigger the higher we drove, and we drove so high up that it eventually started snowing. Once we reached our stop, we walked into the hotel and I noticed a man from my coffee shop sitting in the lobby, watching us. I felt uneasy so I decided to go for a walk, but when I stepped back out through the door I suddenly found myself at the bottom of the mountain again.

The dream of driving up a mountain with your father symbolizes your journey towards success and growth. The mountain represents challenges and obstacles that you are facing in your waking life. Your father, being the driver, signifies your reliance on guidance and support from your family. As you pass by different hotels, churches, and houses, they represent different aspects of your life that you are noticing and acknowledging. The fact that they get bigger and bigger as you drive higher suggests that you are becoming more aware and appreciative of the things around you as you progress in your journey. The snow symbolizes purity and a fresh start, indicating that you are ready to face new challenges and embrace change. The man from your coffee shop represents a familiar and comfortable aspect of your life, but his presence in the unfamiliar setting of the hotel lobby suggests that you may be feeling uneasy about stepping out of your comfort zone. The sudden change of location when you step back out of the hotel symbolizes your fear of failure and the desire to stay in a familiar and safe place. Overall, this dream suggests that you are on a path towards growth and success, but you may be struggling with the fear of the unknown and the need for security.
