A Mother’s Fear: Dreaming of Your Child in Detention
I dreamt my eldest daughter who is 39 was 12 in my dream & she was sent to detention at a facility away from home. In this facility they transferred her to an adult detention center where the inmates were like hardened criminals. My daughter should not have been transferred there. I was very upset and very worried that she would be assaulted there and went to break her out with my husband and recruited help with unknown people. I had a blow horn call her name . In the dream she heard my voice but was unable to answer my call. She seemed relieved that I was coming for her.

This dream may reflect your fears and concerns as a parent for your child’s safety and well-being. The fact that your daughter is 12 years old in the dream may symbolize a time when she was more vulnerable and dependent on you. The detention facility represents a sense of confinement and restriction, possibly reflecting your daughter’s current struggles or challenges in her life. The transfer to an adult detention center may suggest a feeling of powerlessness or loss of control in your daughter’s life. Your fear of her being assaulted may stem from a sense of helplessness in protecting her. The unknown people you recruited for help may represent your desire for support and assistance in dealing with this situation. The blow horn calling her name may symbolize your attempts to reach out and communicate with your daughter, but her inability to answer may reflect a sense of distance or disconnect between you. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of your worries and anxieties as a parent, and a reminder to stay vigilant and supportive of your child during difficult times.
