A Reunion with the Deceased Aunt and a Struggle with Cancer
My aunt whom is deceased and I were driving around in her old Buick. She was talking to me just like she always did. We ran into my cousin (her son) on our way to the family house. He was smoking and talking to some ladies in the neighborhood. She told him to get in even though we was basically home already because we were at the corner but he didn’t get in. Instead he asked me to get out and come smoke with him but I don’t smoke and we were already somehow at the house anyway. Maybe we drove to the house and he just walked over. My cousin is currently going through chemotherapy because he has cancer

The dream begins with the dreamer’s deceased aunt, who represents a maternal figure and a source of guidance and wisdom, driving them around in her old Buick. This symbolizes the dreamer’s journey through life and the guidance they receive from their aunt. The fact that she is talking to the dreamer as she always did suggests that the dreamer is seeking advice or comfort from their aunt in their waking life. The encounter with the dreamer’s cousin, who is currently going through chemotherapy for cancer, represents the dreamer’s own struggle with a difficult and challenging situation. The cousin’s smoking and interaction with women in the neighborhood may symbolize the dreamer’s desire to escape or distract themselves from their own struggles. However, the dreamer’s refusal to smoke and the fact that they are already at the family house suggests that they are facing their challenges head on and finding support and comfort within their family. Overall, the dream reflects the dreamer’s inner conflicts and their need for guidance and support during a difficult time in their life.
