A Terrifying Dream of Abuse and Survival

A Terrifying Dream of Abuse and Survival
I was at home and it was around dusk time and my dad was abusive in the dream. He beat and burnt my mother and I. He eventually started scalding our skin with burning metal and whipping us with belts and one night, around dusk, he took out a gun and I was hiding and he was teasing, "come out, come out, wherever you are," and I took a chance and ran to the neighbors house where I called the police. The dream ended there.
