Confronting the Past: A Dream of Closure and Healing

Confronting the Past: A Dream of Closure and Healing
I am in my bedroom and I can hear my dad, who passed away 2 years ago, downstairs shouting. I rush down stairs to confront my dad. My dad is sat on a chair in the kitchen of my old house smoking a cigarette. I can smell and taste the smoke. I open the kitchen door to let out the smoke. I go over and confront my dad, shouting at him, telling him not to shout at my mum (she passed away 8 years ago and my parents had been divorced for about 40 years). I notice my brother standing by, smirking (I dont speak to my brother as he has causedme a lot of stress and anxiety). I continue to shout at my dad, telling him his behaviour is unacceptable and tell him to get out. My dad looks at me a little bemused. I shout at him again to get out. He slowly gets up and leaves. (I and my dad had both fallen out with my brother. I and my dad were on good terms when he died.)
