Dreaming of Gambling and the IRS: A Biblical Perspective

Dreaming of Gambling and the IRS: A Biblical Perspective
I think i was at like a lottory office people waiting around to see if they won. I heard some woman talking to each other saying you shouldnt gamble because the IRS will say you have money to pay the irs tax bill. I was in public peeing sitting in a small trash can in the the waiting room of this lotto office. The trash can had some belongings to a woman but she didnt seem bothered by it. I remember grabbing some money in the trash can next to me but leaving the change behind. I told my husband lets go gamble casino. In real life we do the IRS. Before falling asleep I was wondering if the coming of the Lord will avoid me paying the IRS

In the Bible, gambling is often seen as a form of greed and a lack of trust in God’s provision. Proverbs 28:22 says, ‘A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the Lord will be enriched.’ This dream may be a warning against the temptation to gamble and rely on luck rather than trusting in God’s provision. The lottery office represents the desire for quick and easy wealth, but the woman’s warning about the IRS reminds us that there are consequences for our actions. In the Bible, we are called to be good stewards of our resources and to pay our taxes (Romans 13:6-7). The dreamer’s decision to leave the change behind in the trash can may symbolize a desire to let go of the temptation to gamble and instead focus on responsible financial management.

The dreamer’s act of peeing in public may represent a lack of shame or disregard for societal norms. This could be a reflection of the dreamer’s thoughts about the coming of the Lord and whether they will be held accountable for their actions. In the Bible, we are reminded to be mindful of our actions and to live in a way that honors God (1 Corinthians 10:31). The dreamer’s decision to go to a casino with their husband may symbolize a desire for excitement and risk-taking, but it also serves as a reminder to be cautious and not let greed or temptation lead us astray.

Overall, this dream may be a reminder to trust in God’s provision and to be responsible with our resources. It also serves as a warning against the temptation to seek quick and easy wealth through gambling. Instead, we are called to live in a way that honors God and to be mindful of our actions, knowing that we will be held accountable for them in the end.
