Traveling or vacationing with husband and some friends. We are moving from one location to another farther up the road, but it's very dark. I somehow get separated from the others and need to take shelter in a mysterious house across the road. There are a few other people there, some I know. It seems that people like it there, and the host is kind offering food and shelter, but I can't contact my husband to let him know where I am. My phone doesn't work properly and I can't get a number pad or contact list to make a call. The house seems somewhat magical or full of illusions, for example I quickly wash my hair and it it instantly dry and styled. I ask a friend if his sister knows where he is, he says "yes." There is someone in the basement that resembles myself. She has a white cat. She says some things to me I can't remember now. She also cut the cat with a knife, but the cat then seemed inanimate and not like a real cat. I grow gradually more upset as time passes that I have to leave and will need to walk to the next location up the road where my traveling companions and husband should be. There is some sense that it's a hard journey. At the same time, everyone seems happy and easy here, so I am tempted to just stay.This dream may symbolize feelings of being lost or uncertain in your waking life.
