The dreamer’s mother passed away two months ago, symbolizing a recent loss and grief. The dream takes place in a church, representing a spiritual or emotional journey. The mother’s statement about being cured from cancer may symbolize a sense of healing or closure in regards to her passing. The desire to start driving again may represent a desire to move forward and take control of one’s life. However, the mother’s dizziness and nervousness may symbolize the dreamer’s own fears and anxieties about moving on without their mother. The cats on the sidewalk may represent the dreamer’s fears or obstacles in their path, and their mother’s fear of cats may symbolize the dreamer’s fear of facing these challenges alone. The dreamer’s actions of kicking and spitting at the cats may represent their determination to overcome these fears and move forward. The interruption by the dreamer’s wife may symbolize the need for support and guidance in this journey. Overall, the dream may be a reflection of the dreamer’s struggle to overcome their grief and fears and find the strength to move forward in their life without their mother.
