Reconnecting with an Old Flame: A Dream Analysis
I had a dream where an old flame from college called me and asked if he could stay at my place during a sort of college reunion. He said he was free indefinitely so he could stay at my place for a while. I felt so happy and excited. It’s been years since we’ve seen each other. I was at a big house with various people from college. I guess that was the reunion? I remember the house was huge with dark brown wood floors and big rooms. I was waiting for the old flames arrival. I remember thinking he would be staying with me where I live now in LA though the reunion must’ve been in Philadelphia. My childhood / teen bathroom was in the house adjacent to the foreign room I was staying in. There was a flood in the bathroom. I remember as I kept coming back to the room I noted the flood. It was maybe 4 inches deep. Then I realized I just had to move the bath mat and the flood drained. I saw the old college flame. It was a beautiful reunion.

This dream may symbolize a desire to reconnect with a past love or a longing for the excitement and happiness that this person brought into your life. The old flame represents a part of yourself that you may have left behind in college, and the reunion signifies a desire to revisit that time in your life. The big house and college reunion setting may represent a sense of nostalgia and a longing for the carefree days of your youth. The flood in the bathroom could symbolize repressed emotions or memories that are resurfacing. The fact that the flood drained when you moved the bath mat could suggest that you have the power to control and manage these emotions. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of your subconscious desire to reconnect with a part of yourself that you may have lost touch with. It may also be a reminder to embrace the present and not get too caught up in the past.
