The Dark House and the Call of the Unknown

The Dark House and the Call of the Unknown
I had this dream that I was at this house and it was dark. I was calling out to my dog Chico because I heard him barking somewhere in the house, I then towards this really dark room and he stopped barking. I go back to the living room to turn on the lights but nothing. So I felt that I needed to leave and I started to launch myself backwards down the road at great speed using just my hands. Then I saw a car pull up and I heard them calling my name out louder and louder and more eerie as I was getting further away. Then I saw a park with green grass and I could tell because the light from the park lights, and I then I woke up.

This dream may symbolize a spiritual journey or struggle. The dark house represents a place of uncertainty and fear, where the dreamer is searching for something or someone familiar, represented by the dog Chico. The barking of the dog could represent a call for help or guidance. However, as the dreamer enters the dark room, the barking stops, indicating that the source of comfort or guidance is not found in this place. This could represent a feeling of being lost or disconnected from God. The dreamer’s attempt to turn on the lights in the living room could symbolize a desire for clarity and understanding in their spiritual journey. However, the lights do not turn on, indicating a lack of direction or guidance. This leads the dreamer to feel the need to leave and escape the darkness. The dreamer then launches themselves backwards down the road, using only their hands, which could symbolize a reliance on their own strength and abilities rather than seeking help from God. The car pulling up and calling the dreamer’s name could represent a call from God to return to Him and His light. The park with green grass symbolizes a place of peace and rest, where the dreamer can find solace and guidance from God. This dream may be a reminder to the dreamer to seek God and His guidance in their spiritual journey, rather than relying on their own strength and understanding.
