The Eagle and the Pigeons: A Biblical Dream Interpretation

The Eagle and the Pigeons: A Biblical Dream Interpretation
I was up on a mountain of sorts. There was a cobbled stone walkway up and around the mountain as though civilization would often go up the mountain. When I walked towards the peak, I saw a cavern in the mountain peak that led to a room inside the peak.  Above the door was a Golden eagle standing directly above the door on top of a sort of shed that provided cover over the door. The eagle was surrounded by 7 to 12 pigeons as it perched above the door.  The pigeons surrounded the eagle as if protecting it and awaiting commands. I turned and made direct eye contact with the eagle. We stared into each other’s eyes. I refused to look away. At this point in my life, I am tired of cowering. I immediately challenged the eagle asking it, “What are you looking at?” It said not a word. As I challenged the eagle, it did nothing.  Next thing I knew the eagle gave a command to one of the pigeons and the pigeon charged me like a kamikaze crashing to his death.  That is what the pigeon did.  It missed me by a long shot and crashed its face onto the cobbled stone floor unto utter death.  At this point, my father walked out of the cavern room’s door and told me not to mess with the eagle, and so I obliged.  I do not remember what was inside the room atop the mountain, but the eagle, its face of fearlessness, and how it commanded the pigeons with such authority and presence was awe-inspiring and amazing, to say the least.  If this dream means anything, I do not know.

In this dream, the dreamer finds themselves on a mountain, a symbol of spiritual growth and elevation. The cobbled stone walkway represents the path of righteousness and the journey towards God. The cavern in the mountain peak symbolizes a hidden or secret place, possibly representing the presence of God. The Golden eagle, a symbol of strength and power, stands above the door, representing God’s authority and protection. The pigeons, often seen as a symbol of peace and innocence, surround the eagle, representing the protection and guidance of God’s angels. The dreamer’s direct eye contact with the eagle represents their boldness and courage in facing their fears and challenges. This could also symbolize the dreamer’s desire for a closer relationship with God. The eagle’s lack of response to the dreamer’s challenge could represent God’s silence in the face of our doubts and questions. The pigeon’s kamikaze charge towards the dreamer could symbolize the consequences of disobedience and going against God’s will. The dreamer’s father appearing and warning them not to mess with the eagle could represent God’s guidance and protection through authority figures in our lives. The dreamer’s inability to remember what was inside the room atop the mountain could symbolize the mystery and wonder of God’s plans and purposes for our lives. Overall, this dream could be a reminder to trust in God’s authority and protection, to boldly face our fears and challenges, and to seek a closer relationship with Him.
