The Funeral and the Abandoned Home: A Biblical Dream Interpretation

The Funeral and the Abandoned Home: A Biblical Dream Interpretation
I dreamed I was at a funeral of a young black boy I've never seen before. The body of the deceased boy was being carried into someone's house. I also saw some abandoned homes and so I entered into one old small, abandoned home and saw a short homeless man living in it and the house had dented and cracked floors. I asked the man how long he had been living there but I could not understand his language because it was foreign to me. I cannot remember the remaining events I dreamed.

This dream may symbolize feelings of grief and loss, as well as a sense of isolation and abandonment. The funeral of a young black boy, whom the dreamer has never seen before, may represent the loss of innocence or the death of a part of oneself. The fact that the body is being carried into someone’s house could suggest a desire for comfort and refuge in the midst of this loss. However, the abandoned homes and the small, dilapidated one that the dreamer enters may represent a sense of hopelessness and despair. The short homeless man living in the house could symbolize the dreamer’s own feelings of being lost and without a home or purpose. The dented and cracked floors may represent the dreamer’s own brokenness and struggles. The dreamer’s inability to understand the man’s language could suggest a lack of communication or understanding in their waking life. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of the dreamer’s feelings of grief, loss, and disconnection from others and themselves. It may be a call to seek comfort and healing, and to find a sense of purpose and belonging in their life.
