The Hidden Dangers of Trusting Strangers in Dreams

The Hidden Dangers of Trusting Strangers in Dreams
I dreamt I went on a vacation with 2 friends and while there we saw a bookstore for sale and put an offer in. I was just joking about wanting to own it but then my friend put an offer. Next I dreamt I was walking in a restaurant and a couple with two kids pretended to know me and said it had been so long since they had seen me. I didn’t want to be rude so I pretended to know them as well. I saw down at their table and quickly felt something was not right. Turns out they were trying to scam me. I excused myself and called my credit card company to let them know the charges were not mine. I left to join to friends but now I was with other two friends: one was a distant friend and the other was my previous crush. My previous crush noted I was feeling down and tried to cheer me up.

This dream may symbolize a fear of being taken advantage of or deceived by others. The vacation with friends represents a desire for relaxation and enjoyment, but the unexpected encounter with the bookstore for sale suggests a potential opportunity or temptation that may not be what it seems. The joke about wanting to own the bookstore may reflect a desire for control or ownership in waking life. However, the friend’s serious offer and subsequent scam by the couple with children may represent a warning to be cautious of trusting others too easily. The distant friend and previous crush may symbolize past relationships or connections that have caused emotional pain or disappointment. The previous crush’s attempt to cheer you up may suggest a need for support and reassurance in dealing with these past experiences. Overall, this dream may be a reminder to be cautious and discerning in relationships and decisions, and to trust your instincts when something feels off.
