The Journey Through the Desert: A Dream of Faith and Survival
Jesus is leading his followers into the desert. He directs us to hold on tightly. Suddenly there is a huge sand storm encompassing us. When it’s over I see over half of the group is dead on the ground. The rest of us continue on the trek. Most of us are dying of thirst. Jesus asks us to trust in him. Soon he leads us to this beautiful oasis filled with lush trees and water, telling us good job my flock.

This dream is a powerful metaphor for the journey of faith and the challenges that come with it. Jesus, as the leader and guide, represents the spiritual path and the trust we must have in it. The desert symbolizes the trials and hardships we face along the way. The sand storm is a representation of the chaos and turmoil that can shake our faith, causing some to fall and lose their way. However, those who hold on tightly to Jesus and trust in him are able to persevere. The oasis at the end of the journey represents the reward for our faith and perseverance. It is a place of rest and rejuvenation, filled with the nourishment and sustenance we need to continue on our journey. This dream reminds us to trust in our spiritual path, even when faced with challenges and doubts. It also serves as a reminder that our faith will be rewarded in the end. As Jesus says, ‘good job my flock,’ we are reminded of the importance of staying strong and faithful on our journey towards spiritual fulfillment.
