I keep dreaming that I am going through a maze/escape room with friends, or sometimes I am guiding a tour group of children through a museum, all the while having the feeling that I need to remember something urgently and it gnaws away at me. I am NEVER successful in remembering during this phase. When I enter the final room, the group of friends I am with or the children I am guiding are all ushered in and I shut a heavy door behind us. At this moment, or while I am shutting the heavy door, my memory rushes back to me and I remember there is a hulk-like monster hiding in the room, but the door is too heavy to easily stop closing, and I only remember when it's too late to make any difference. He emerges suddenly and loudly, taking the room by storm and starts destroying furniture, pushing over bookshelves, throwing people around like dolls and in mere moments kills everyone. There is no time for me to save even a single person's life. If I manage to escape, I am determined to find help but my memory is erased as soon as I pass the threshold of the door, exiting that room. I find myself back in the maze, or back at the front of the museum and I encounter another group of friends or another group of children waiting to enter the museum or the maze/escape room. And this cycle repeats itself, with that gnawing feeling that I need to remember something but I can't - until it's too late. This dream may symbolize a recurring issue or problem in your waking life that you are struggling to remember or address. The maze or escape room represents the complexity and confusion surrounding this issue, while the tour group of friends or children symbolizes the people in your life who are affected by it. The gnawing feeling of urgency suggests that this issue is causing you anxiety and you feel a sense of responsibility to solve it. However, as you enter the final room and remember the hulk-like monster, it could represent a fear or obstacle that is preventing you from addressing the issue. The heavy door symbolizes the difficulty in confronting this problem, and the fact that your memory is erased upon leaving the room suggests that you are avoiding or suppressing it. The cycle of encountering new groups and the feeling of needing to remember but being unable to until it’s too late, may indicate a pattern of avoidance and denial. This dream may be urging you to face your fears and confront the issue before it destroys everything in your life.
