The Pain of Letting Go: A Dream About Moving On

The Pain of Letting Go: A Dream About Moving On
I was at a church building for a services, sitting in the front row and I see my ex girlfriend, whom I still have feelings for walk in with another guy and sit together just down the pew. I saw him try to hold her hand but she pulled it away and gave him a strange look, then she looked at me. It hurt to see her with someone else but, I thought “oh well, we’re not together anymore, she can do what she wants”. Later she got up to go to the back, I assumed the bathroom…she didn’t return and another person told her teenage daughter to go check on her. It then changed to me driving home and I went past my house and told a neighbor I lived up the block and had to back up to my house. As I was back up, a police car came and I was accused of reckless driving. That’s it.

This dream may symbolize your struggle with accepting the end of a relationship. The church represents a place of spiritual guidance and support, suggesting that you may be seeking guidance in dealing with your feelings for your ex-girlfriend. Seeing her with another guy may represent your fear of losing her and the pain of seeing her move on. The fact that she pulled away from his attempt to hold her hand and gave him a strange look could indicate that she is not fully committed to this new relationship. This may give you hope that there is still a chance for reconciliation. However, her disappearance and the need for someone to check on her could suggest that she is struggling with her own emotions and may not be ready to fully move on. The dream may also reflect your own feelings of guilt or regret for not being able to make the relationship work. The police car and accusation of reckless driving could symbolize your fear of being judged or blamed for the end of the relationship. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of your inner turmoil and the need to come to terms with the end of the relationship and move forward.
