The Pool of Deception

The Pool of Deception
I was at a large indoor pool, I was sitting on a platform on a seat in the middle, as I looked around the pool everyone was under the water and seemed to be asleep. There was one guy who suddenly started splashing and messing around in the pool, a big guy with long blond hair got out of the pool and was on the platform and looked at me and said, what is that guys problem, can’t he see we are all just chillin’ here relaxing? Then he goes over to the guy who is getting out of the pool and grabs him and picks him up and slams him face down into the concrete. The guy tries to stand up but he is bleeding from his face and head and falls back to the ground. The big blond guy just stands there watching him and shrugs his shoulders. No one gets up to help. I woke up.

This dream may symbolize the spiritual state of the dreamer and those around them. The large indoor pool represents a place of leisure and relaxation, which can be seen as a metaphor for the world and its temptations. The dreamer is sitting on a platform, which could represent a position of authority or influence. However, the fact that everyone in the pool is asleep suggests a state of spiritual slumber and unawareness. The one person who is awake and causing chaos represents the enemy, who seeks to distract and deceive people from the truth. The big blond guy with long hair could symbolize the devil, who often appears as an angel of light. He tries to justify his actions by saying they are all just relaxing, but in reality, he is causing harm and destruction. This could represent the enemy’s tactics of luring people into sin and then blaming them for their own downfall. The fact that no one gets up to help the injured man could symbolize the lack of compassion and love in the world, as well as the apathy towards those who are suffering. This dream serves as a warning to stay alert and not be deceived by the enemy’s tactics. It also highlights the importance of showing love and compassion towards others, even when they may seem undeserving. As Christians, we are called to be vigilant and to help those in need, just as Jesus did. Let this dream be a reminder to stay awake and to always extend a helping hand to those who are hurting.
