The Power of Protection: A Dream of Self-Defense and Fear

The Power of Protection: A Dream of Self-Defense and Fear
My mother and I were living in the same house. In my dream, my mother had gotten a gun to defend herself. Our neighbor, who originally posed herself to be very friendly, started knocking at our door in a highly aggressive manner. My mother let her in, then my neighbor pulled a gun on her. I took a knife and managed to stab her with it. We thought she was dead, and briefly celebrated. I went upstairs. My mom followed me. While I was standing in my room, my mom outside my room, someone shut my room door. It was locked, and whoever it was was outside in the hallway with my mom. I was scared for my mom, and I couldn't do anything about it. I went to call the police, then I woke up.
