For context: The dream started with about 50 kids, all boys, and each named after a colour of the rainbow. They were able to "respawn" after death, but couldn't respawn if they were starved to death or if they had whatever forced a respawn left embedded in them for too long. As the dream went on the numbers dwindled, whether it be to famine or to leaving to try and find them all a better place to live and not returning. The group I was in in the dream stayed in the abandoned building the respawn anchor could be found in, slowly building a garden and learning or to defend themselves (sorta). We were all only kids in the dream, all the same age as we were born at the same time. By the time of the dream's start, there were only 20 kids left, with me (who was Violet in the dream) and Ocean being the group leaders by vote and also because we decided we couldn't lead alone.
When I entered the dream it was during a game. We had guests staying on our land, they gave us life skills in exchange for us giving them a place to stay and food. The game's prize was getting to spend the night with the lady and her father. I joined in the game because I was curious about what all the fuss was about and hoped that winning the game would give me a better idea, I was also kind of bored and decided "eh, why not?"
The challenge of the game was simple, we had to build a little toy and keep it from being broken by everyone else, you had three tries to keep it safe and whoever kept theirs safe until morning won.
The game was of course chaos, and I wound up getting overwhelmed and hiding in my room. Which was shared with Ocean.
He was asleep, no longer spectating because apparently mine was the only one left? Which was funny because I was struggling to put my last one together.
eventually I got it together, and as though it had been sensed one of the guys called up "do you still got a toy up there?" and I said "no", like a liar.
They didn't really believe me and snuck up on me in the back window, then it was a pig pile of Violet until I gave up the toy and it got broken. None of us won the game lmao. This dream may symbolize the challenges and responsibilities of leadership, as well as the struggle for survival in a harsh and unpredictable world. The rainbow children represent diversity and unity, as they are all born at the same time and named after different colors. The ability to respawn after death may represent resilience and the ability to bounce back from difficult situations. However, the limitations on respawning, such as starvation or being embedded with something for too long, suggest that there are consequences for our actions and that we must be mindful of our choices. The dwindling numbers of children may symbolize the harsh realities of life and the constant struggle to find a better place to live. The game in the dream may represent the competition and challenges of achieving success and recognition. The chaos and struggle to keep the toy safe may reflect the difficulties and obstacles in achieving our goals. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of the dreamer’s own experiences and fears about leadership, survival, and competition.
