The Significance of Confessing Our Feelings in Dreams

The Significance of Confessing Our Feelings in Dreams
I had a dream that I was in Australia with a school group. We were in a hotel for the last day at checkout and I was adding up numbers for the bill for the teacher. The only two numbers I remember are 52. Afterwards I went to my former room in a blue area of the hotel. There my high school crush, Rob came to see me. We were both in pajamas as it was late evening (even though our school group was not staying the night at this hotel). I spent a happy time with him. Then he said he had to leave our school group for another in a different location and I felt anxious. He walked away. I thought about what he said and then went chasing after him because I couldn’t let him go without at least confessing to him how much he means to me to sway his decision. I talked to different people to figure out where in the hotel we were checking out of he went. He was in the red room where people were dressed up in gowns and dancing. I figured well I don’t look that bad right now even in. pajamas so I can still blend in. I was confident and ready to find Rob in here and tell him how I feel and that’s when I woke up.

In this dream, the dreamer finds themselves in Australia with a school group, representing a journey or a new experience in their life. The fact that they are in a hotel for the last day at checkout suggests that this journey or experience is coming to an end. The dreamer is then tasked with adding up numbers for the bill, symbolizing the need to take responsibility and make decisions as this journey or experience comes to a close. The two numbers they remember, 52, could represent a time frame or a specific amount of time left in this journey or experience.

The dream then shifts to the dreamer’s former room in a blue area of the hotel, symbolizing a place of comfort and familiarity. Here, their high school crush, Rob, appears in pajamas, representing a relaxed and intimate setting. This could suggest that the dreamer has unresolved feelings for Rob from their past. The fact that he has to leave for another school group in a different location could symbolize a missed opportunity or a fear of losing him.

The dreamer’s decision to chase after Rob and confess their feelings represents the need to be honest and open about their emotions. This could also symbolize the need to take action and not let opportunities slip away. The red room where Rob is found could symbolize passion and desire, further emphasizing the dreamer’s strong feelings for him. The dreamer’s confidence and willingness to blend in with the dressed-up crowd shows their determination to express their feelings.

From a biblical perspective, this dream could be a reminder to not let fear hold us back from confessing our feelings and taking action. It could also symbolize the importance of being honest and open with ourselves and others, as well as the need to make decisions and take responsibility for our actions. This dream could also be a reflection of the dreamer’s desire for a deeper connection and intimacy in their relationships. Overall, this dream serves as a reminder to be true to ourselves and to not let opportunities pass us by.
