The Spiritual Battle Within: A Biblical Interpretation of a Dream
I dreamt that I was in a persons house that I know . Another person that I know in ministry was there. I remember I started taking my shirt off and I had huge, deep sores looked like inches deep with massive scabs all on my shoulders. ( I had my back to this person; it was very innocent)I was asked what this was from and I said prayer wounds. Then one of the scabs came off ( it was so big it was hanging off both hands ) and I began to eat the scab and I remember it tasted bad towards the end and I spat a little out on the floor (maybe a shower ). I was behind a closed door. I think I was in a bedroom but I’m not sure. Then I heard the owner of the house walking through the house and I looked for a place to hide.

This dream may symbolize a spiritual battle within the dreamer’s life. The house represents the dreamer’s life and the people in it represent those who are close to them. The person in ministry may represent a spiritual authority or mentor in the dreamer’s life. The dreamer taking off their shirt may symbolize vulnerability and exposing their true self. The deep sores on their shoulders may represent wounds or burdens that the dreamer is carrying. These wounds may be caused by the dreamer’s involvement in ministry or their spiritual journey. The scabs may represent the dreamer’s attempts to cover up or heal these wounds, but they are still visible and causing discomfort. Eating the scab may symbolize the dreamer’s attempt to find healing or nourishment from their wounds, but ultimately finding it unsatisfying and even harmful. This could represent the dreamer’s struggle with finding true healing and fulfillment in their spiritual journey. The closed door and hiding from the owner of the house may symbolize the dreamer’s desire to keep their struggles hidden from others, possibly out of shame or fear of judgment. This dream may be a reminder for the dreamer to seek true healing and support from their spiritual community and to not hide their struggles. It may also be a warning to be cautious of seeking fulfillment or healing from unhealthy sources. Overall, this dream highlights the importance of addressing and seeking healing for our spiritual wounds in order to grow and thrive in our faith journey.
