The Symbolism of a Temporary Home and Family Dynamics in a Dream
I dreamed of being at a new temporary home with my family. My second oldest child and his girlfriend had the master bedroom. As I was walking through the home. I came to my son and his girlfriends master bedroom. I noticed a large mirror on the wall that I thought was nice to have. The mirror was there when we moved in. I looked closely at it and it had a brown border, was clean, and clear but I don't recall seeing my reflection.. I liked it and thought they were lucky to have it in their room and wished I had it available to me. I then proceeded on to their closet where my son had himself setup with a mattress as though he was using the closet to sleep in and as his room. The mattress didn't fit and Iit was crammed in. He was crammed into the closet. Then I went outside where there was a public pool and strangers. I remember a beach ball that was fully inflated and may have been mine. Then I saw a beach ball in a strangers hands that was going flat.

Your second oldest child and his girlfriend having the master bedroom could represent a shift in power dynamics within your family, where your child is now taking on a more dominant role. The large mirror on the wall may symbolize self-reflection and introspection, but the fact that you don’t see your own reflection could suggest feelings of being overlooked or not fully seen in your family. The brown border on the mirror could represent grounding and stability, while the cleanliness and clarity could symbolize a desire for clarity and order in your life. Your son sleeping in the closet could represent feelings of being confined or restricted in your own personal space. The public pool and strangers could symbolize a need for social interaction and connection. The beach ball going flat could represent a fear of losing fun and playfulness in your life. Overall, this dream may be reflecting your subconscious thoughts and emotions about your family relationships and living situation.
