So I had a WEIRD dream last night.
Me, Cullen, you, some other female teacher, and a few parents from a couple of schools ago were in Louisville for the Wake Forest/Louisville football game. We were up in the second tier of seats but like on row 3. After a quarter or so, I decided to go get a hot dog and use the bathroom. On the way to the bathroom, a group of students at Louisville were having a candy giveaway thing for their group, but because it was lining an unguarded stairwell, people were stealing their candy left and right (those parents from my old school tell me everyone is taking one so I should too), so I grabbed a bag of something and someone else gave me a Butterfinger. I try to shove them in my bag and then went to find a bathroom, but I got caught by someone at Louisville about recognizing the candy so I gave her the bag I took and kept waking with my head down. I finally found a bathroom after walking what seemed like forever and looked and I was in the student bookstore on the other side of the stadium. I tried to find someone who could point me back in the direction of our seats but I didn't think I had my ticket on me. They offer me two tickets to come back instead and I explain to them that Kentucky is a LONG way from where I live and I WON'T ever be coming back. I finally find someone who says he can help (I'm in tears by this point) and he takes me to what I'm assuming is in the direction of our seats. Instead it's endless hallways (it's now raining and I'm missing the halftime performance by the band) and we finally get to this office door and it's some dude who looked like he was in the middle of getting dressed (we wait outside for a few minutes as he finishes). I try to explain my story but my friend Monica is there now and she tells a big story about being on the transfer list and losing a battle and all she wanted to do was watch this football game and the dude tells us a lady at his church told him to be generous when presented with this exact situation, so he gives us 2 new tickets and buys us rain ponchos but they're still not my seat. In all of this, I finally look at my phone (which was with my ticket in my bag all along!) and you've had the female teacher call me and hand you the phone. You ask where the heck I went?? You say Cullen has made me agree to splitting a hamburger next time lol. I tell you I'm trying to get back. In trying to get back to you guys, I miss the entire football game and you guys went over to watch Louisville play the Durham Bulls (go figure) while you waited for me and I make it back to you guys at like the bottom of the 9th inning..
