The Symbolism of Snakes in Dreams

The Symbolism of Snakes in Dreams
There was a tiny black snake. My mom was holding it and she was messing around brining it close to me and it bit my wrist and my wrist like immediately swelled up. I was like I need to go to ER. But they weren’t taking me seriously and taking forever. By the time we got there the swelling had gone away and I was fine. But the kicker was while I was waiting to be taken to the ER from the tiny snake bite, a GIANT black snake crawled into the garage. It didn’t get me but it was there and I think I noticed and said to close the garage or something to trap it in.

The presence of a tiny black snake in the dream represents a hidden fear or threat in the dreamer’s life. The fact that the mother is holding the snake and playing with it suggests that the dreamer’s fear may be linked to their relationship with their mother. The bite on the wrist symbolizes a sudden and unexpected attack on the dreamer’s sense of self and identity. The swelling of the wrist could represent the dreamer’s feelings of being overwhelmed or out of control in their waking life. The dreamer’s desire to go to the ER reflects their need for help and support in dealing with this fear or threat. The delay in getting to the ER could symbolize the dreamer’s frustration with not being taken seriously or not receiving the help they need. The appearance of a giant black snake in the garage could represent a larger, more powerful fear or threat that the dreamer is now aware of. The dreamer’s instinct to trap the snake in the garage suggests their desire to contain and control this fear or threat. Overall, this dream may be a reflection of the dreamer’s anxieties and struggles in their waking life, particularly in their relationship with their mother.
