The Symbolism of Wild Boars in a Dream

The Symbolism of Wild Boars in a Dream
In the dream, someone or something was trying to break into my home. Out of nowhere I saw two wild boars. They didn’t attack me. They just walked past me and I just glanced at them.

The dream of someone or something trying to break into your home is a common symbol of feeling vulnerable or threatened in your personal life. This could represent a fear of losing control or being invaded by outside forces. The appearance of two wild boars in the dream adds another layer of symbolism. In the Bible, wild boars are often associated with destruction and chaos. In Psalm 80:13, the psalmist cries out to God, saying, ‘The boar from the forest ravages it, and all that move in the field feed on it.’ This verse speaks of the destruction caused by enemies and invaders, which could be reflected in your dream. The fact that the boars did not attack you but simply walked past you could suggest that the threat or danger you feel is not immediate or imminent, but still present in your subconscious. It is important to note that in the Bible, wild boars are also seen as symbols of strength and power. In 1 Chronicles 12:8, the men of Gad are described as being ‘like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, when he passes through, treads down and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.’ This could indicate that despite feeling vulnerable, you have the strength and courage to face any challenges that come your way. Overall, this dream may be a reminder to stay vigilant and protect yourself from potential threats, while also trusting in your own inner strength and resilience.
