The Torn Painting: A Dream of Workplace Tensions and Hidden Desires

The Torn Painting: A Dream of Workplace Tensions and Hidden Desires
Jn my dream at was at my workplace, in one of the walls I saw one of my paintings (an actual painting i made about 14 years ago) being fixed by the staffing person (the actual painting has a small whole and this person was fixing that same whole) but the painting kept been torn instead pf fixed. My boss approached me and told me that I had to do the fixing myself and that she didn’t want anyone else around me, that she wanted me for herself. Mind you, I am a lesbian in real life. I don’t remember much about the dream but my boss told me that she had something to tell me and left at my desk some things, I keep to myself her phone as she walked away, I was trying to find out what she wanted to tell me but all she said was that we would talk later. I see a guy asking me for her things she had left on my desk but i give him some feathers that were attached to the phone and i tell him that no, that i will keep her phone until she comes back. Now I am not sexually interested in anyway to my boss in real life.

This dream may symbolize unresolved conflicts and hidden desires in your workplace. The painting represents your creative talents and the staffing person trying to fix it may represent someone in your workplace who is trying to control or change your work. The fact that the painting keeps getting torn instead of fixed could suggest that these attempts at control are causing more harm than good. Your boss approaching you and wanting you for herself may symbolize a desire for recognition and validation from your superiors. As a lesbian in real life, this could also represent a desire for acceptance and understanding from your boss. The fact that you are keeping her phone and feathers may symbolize a desire to hold onto this attention and validation, even if it means keeping it secret. The guy asking for her things could represent societal expectations or pressures to conform to heterosexual norms. Overall, this dream may be reflecting your inner conflicts and desires in regards to your workplace and your identity. It may be a sign to address these issues and find a balance between your personal and professional life.
