The Transformative Power of Acceptance: A Dream of Dogs and Dinner

The Transformative Power of Acceptance: A Dream of Dogs and Dinner
The dream had three parts or times I would say. The first part I had a dog and that dog would also turn into a new friend of mine. I didn't think anything of it as if it was normal and I always knew about it. Then at one point my family saw the dog and got upset and told me to get rid of the dog and I looked at them like they are crazy because I told them that he's a person too. They did not believe at all which is understandable. Then when they tried to pull him outside while he was asleep he woke up and turned back into a person and then everyone believed me and I started to realize how crazy this was and why everyone was freaking out. Then the dream shifted to where I was in the car driving but it was to a old high school friend's house. I was driving there to have dinner with him and his mom but I was the one who cooked so I was bringing the dinner with me. When I got to a stop sign I got out and took a cooked tray of chicken with me and when I saw them we all talked for a second and then I realized I forgot the rest of the food and told them I have to go check the car. While I was heading back towards the car I noticed I parked infront of the stop sign on the road and just got out. So I started running to my car because there was other cars waiting and once I got to my car I moved it a little bit over to park off the street. At this point I had started to remeber that I've done this before and I've been here before so when I got out of the car I didn't even check for more food I just started going back to the house but I was in my underwear now and another guy was yelling walking across multiple yards and everyone seemed concerned about him. He then yelled at my for being in my underwear and acting like his the crazy one. I looked at my friend and looked down and then it seemed to have began the last part of the dream where I was in a house that I knew was my childhood home but it really wasn't. Then I was walking around and showing a co-worker around and telling him details about the house and my family there was one point where there was this weird spa or bathrub looking thing in three tiers that was next to the stairs and when i pushed down on a corner the whole floor shifted which i thought was weird so i stopped. Then my friend/coworker started playing music from a home theater system which was loud and had bass so some items started falling and then the receiver fell so we stopped the music. I didnt seem to care about the damages because it wasnt where i currently live and was kind of like a wall through of my childhood home, even though looking back the only time i have been there was in previous dreams. After that I remeber being in the shower and when i looked down I noticed my skin started to have bumps which became bubbles. I assumed I was reacting to something because I have allergies. Then it became really bad and something whispered to me that I should get the creame for it. Once I turned and looked for cream while standing in the shower another whisper came across and said that it was a witch and there's a candle over there ontop of the shelf that I didnt have. So I ran to it instead of the cream and grabbed it and felt like something was watching me so I threw the candle down to break it and I was picked up and thrown against a mirror near the shower and felt like my head was getting pushed harder and harder into the mirror. Then I woke up panicked.

This dream is a reflection of your inner struggle with acceptance and transformation. The dog in the first part represents a part of yourself that you have accepted and integrated into your life, but others may not understand or accept. This could be a new aspect of your personality or a new relationship. Your family’s reaction symbolizes the external pressure to conform and fit into societal norms. However, when the dog turns into a person, it represents your realization that this part of yourself is not something to be ashamed of, but rather something to embrace and celebrate. This leads to the second part of the dream, where you are driving to an old friend’s house. This friend represents a part of your past that you are revisiting, possibly to gain a sense of comfort and familiarity. The dinner you bring symbolizes your desire to nourish and nurture this friendship. However, the chaos and confusion with the food and the man yelling in his underwear represent your fear of losing control and being judged by others. This fear is rooted in your childhood home, which symbolizes your past and your family dynamics. The spa or bathtub represents a need for relaxation and self-care, but the shifting floor symbolizes your fear of losing stability and control. Your coworker represents a part of yourself that is curious and exploring, but also causing chaos and disruption. The loud music and falling items represent your inner turmoil and the need to find balance and harmony. Overall, this dream is a reminder to accept and embrace all parts of yourself, even the ones that may seem unconventional or misunderstood by others. Only then can you find peace and stability in your life.
