Unlocking Hidden Potential: The Symbolism of Ghosts and Puzzles in a Dream
So we were all on some sort of vacation and we were staying in an old house. We had all gone out to dinner at literally midnight the night before and I had accidentally left my phone in Maine Paul’s car. He had accidentally taken it back to his room in the house we were staying in. The house had a lot of secret areas and hard to reach places. The hardest place to reach was a 4th floor bedroom area that had some lofted beds. Maine Paul accidentally grabbed my phone and so it was stuck in that room. However to get in that room you have to go through a bunch of tests because ghosts guard that room. I messed up on the first tasks the first time, and so I walked out of the room, took a sip of water, and then went right back in. There were a few puzzles, one that involve skis and touching your feet to bricks. Then you have to solve a puzzle where you just need to remember where you touched last, like a memory thing, and then you’re all in a room with everyone else trying to get it and you have to spell out SURF via pillows as part of a riddle because you saw the word “Surf” earlier when the ghosts were running you through the tests. The first two puzzles look like they’re happening in Nonny’s basement and the last one happens in some other world. There are lots of stuffy black leather couches there. Then, when you win, you’re allowed to go into the room. At one point I slapped some girl that was Kayla Marcynzik for some reason because she said something insulting. Then I didn’t win, but I was granted access by the ghosts for some reason. I was allowed to go in. Then when I was ready to leave I was asked if I wanted to talk to a softball coach. I then met with the softball coach but my knee was swollen and weird and it was hard to walk. We met and she said she would give me a chance. Then I left and I walked through some crazy basement hallways that were decorated in all kinds of graffiti and like Limelight in the early days. Then I was home and I parked my bike that I had been riding as transport in Ed’s garage and talked to both Ed and my mom. I’ve had this dream before as well. When I was a kid. It was like my body knew the answers to the ghosts puzzles because I had done them before with Christina and Samantha when I was little.

This dream may symbolize the journey towards self-discovery and unlocking hidden potential. The old house represents the subconscious mind, filled with secret areas and hard-to-reach places. The vacation setting suggests a desire for relaxation and escape from daily routines. However, the late dinner and misplaced phone may represent a feeling of being out of control or disconnected from one’s responsibilities. The ghosts guarding the 4th floor bedroom may represent fears or obstacles that must be overcome in order to reach one’s goals. The puzzles and tests represent challenges and obstacles in the dreamer’s waking life. The memory puzzle may suggest the need to reflect on past experiences in order to move forward. The mention of a softball coach and the dreamer’s knee injury may symbolize the dreamer’s desire for success and recognition in a particular area, but also the fear of not being physically or mentally prepared for it. The graffiti-filled basement hallways may represent the dreamer’s inner thoughts and emotions, while the presence of family members suggests the importance of their support and guidance in the dreamer’s journey. Overall, this dream may be a reminder to trust in one’s abilities and to persevere through challenges in order to reach one’s full potential.
